A pair of R-27ER air-to-air guided missiles with racks in 1:48 scale from Quinta Studio. The accessory is not tied to a particular kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The R-27 is a Soviet medium-range air-to-air guided missile carried by the MiG-29 and Su-27 fighter families and by the types derived from them. The R-27ER version is the extended-range variant. On a model it is a large and clearly visible stores item, so its shape and the crispness of its fins show more than on small accessories.
Two R-27ER missiles including their racks, that is a complete stores fit for one symmetrical pair under the wings. The set is not prepared for a single kit; it suits any model that carries this type of missile and where you want to replace the coarser plastic parts.
The parts are not polystyrene, so cement for plastic models has no effect on them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, and on larger contact areas two-part epoxy is safer. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and carefully sand the remainder so the shape is not damaged. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and degrease them, then apply a primer. The fins and the stabilizers are thin, so allow for that when handling them and fit them at the end of the build. Check the position of the stores and their combination with the rest of the armament against the documentation for your particular aircraft.
For a modeler who is building a modern fighter in 1:48 scale and wants sharper stores than the kit offers. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
