A detailed figure from Reskit in 1:48 scale produced by 3D printing in resin. The package contains one figure of an F-105D Thunderchief pilot in a seated pose, together with the late version of the ejection seat. The flight gear, the helmet and the harness straps are finely rendered. The figure brings the cockpit of a finished model to life and also serves in a diorama. The accessory is intended for the Hobby Boss kits.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was an American single-seat supersonic fighter-bomber used extensively during the Vietnam War for strikes against ground targets. The F-105D version was the main production variant, capable of all-weather flight.
Wash the uncured print resin residue off the parts, cut them from the 3D print supports and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin. It is best to paint the figure and the seat before seating them in the cockpit, preferably with acrylic paints picked out with oils or a wash.
