The set contains two 3D printed resin replicas of the GBU-10 Paveway I laser guided bomb with the BSU-4/B tail unit and BSU-3/B wings. This is an accessory for external stores, not a kit in its own right. The parts are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The GBU-10 Paveway I is an American first generation laser guided bomb built on the basis of the 2000 lb Mk.84 general purpose bomb. The forward guidance section with its sensor of the reflected laser beam and the fixed stabilizing wings made markedly more accurate hits possible than with conventional bombs. Its use began during the Vietnam War and continued in the following decades.
Wash the parts free of release agent, separate them from the supports and the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Carry out sanding with protection of the airways. Primer is recommended; the body of the bomb tends to be olive green with colored bands denoting the explosive filling.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
