This is NOT an airplane model but a resin cockpit detail set for the Anglo-French Sepecat Jaguar GR.1A attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It replaces the simplified interior of the plastic kit with a faithfully worked-out cockpit tub, instrument panel, side consoles and ejection seat. The set usually combines cast resin with colored photo-etched parts; check the exact contents against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Sepecat Jaguar was a single-seat attack and reconnaissance aircraft developed in cooperation between Great Britain and France. The British GR.1A version served with the RAF in the role of tactical strike and low-level reconnaissance. The cockpit of the Jaguar is fairly well visible under the raised canopy, so a detailed interior lifts the impression of the finished model markedly.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash the mold release agent off them and glue them with super glue. Fit the colored photo-etched instruments onto a blackened panel and secure them with a drop of varnish or super glue. Spray the interior in the base cockpit shade and bring out the details with drybrushing and a wash. Make a fit test before you close the fuselage.
