A detailed model of the American twin-engined bomber North American B-25J Mitchell in the Strafer version (the attack variant with a full gun nose) in 1:48 scale. It is a Limited Edition from Eduard built on quality HK Models plastic, completed with colored etched parts, painting masks and resin wheels; the decals cover six color schemes.
The B-25 Mitchell, named after the advocate of air power General Billy Mitchell, was one of the most successful Allied medium bombers of the Second World War, powered by Wright R-2600 Cyclone radial engines. The strafer versions of the B-25J had a full nose fitted with machine guns instead of a glazed one and attacked shipping and ground targets from low altitude, especially in the Pacific.
It is worth building the model in subassemblies and testing the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and, if you wish, pick them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a good thin cement for plastic, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
