CMK Tempest fuselage fuel and oil tanks 1:48 is a resin set of the fuselage tanks and bulkheads for a model of the British Hawker Tempest fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from the Czech maker CMK for a model of the British Hawker Tempest fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory that brings the oil tank, the fuel tanks and the bulkheads that sit in the upper part of the fuselage ahead of the cockpit. The set follows on from the related engine set and makes an open view into the front of the fuselage possible. According to the product name it is intended for the Eduard kit.
The Hawker Tempest was a British single-seat fighter of the closing stage of the Second World War, developed from the Typhoon with a new wing. It stood out for its high speed at low altitude and proved itself, among other things, in the fight against the V-1 flying bombs. The tanks and bulkheads in the front of the fuselage make up a structural feature that can be left open on the model.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks away and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. If you want to display the tanks, plan the opening of the relevant fuselage panels. A wash will bring the detail to life. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
