A resin set of replacement wheels for models of the Panavia Tornado multirole aircraft in 1:48 scale. The wheels replace the plastic parts from the base kit and bring a sharper relief on the tread pattern as well as a more accurate shape of the discs. The author of the set is the manufacturer Reskit.
Wheels from the box tend to be simplified and carry traces of the parting plane. Resin castings have finer detail, which markedly improves the look of the landing gear once painted. They are fitted in place of the original parts, as a rule without major alterations.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent because of the remains of the release agent. Separate the wheels from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
