Firma49 tow cable ends, German equipment of the Second World War, 1:48 is a resin (3D-printed) set of the ends (eyes) of a tow cable for models of German vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin, 3D-printed detail set of the ends, that is the eyes, of the tow cable that German military vehicles of the Second World War carried. It is not a model of a vehicle but an accessory with which you replace the coarse plastic ends from a kit with a faithful, finely drawn substitute in the smaller 1:48 scale.
To the ends a modeler adds their own thin cord or wire of the length needed and so creates a realistic tow cable stowed on the fenders or the bed of a vehicle. Even at the smaller scale it refines the overall look considerably.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue and cut them carefully from the carrier blocks, handling the small castings with tweezers. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Glue your own cord or wire into the eye of the end, spray the whole thing in a metallic shade and weather it.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The cable, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
