Photo-etched portholes for German ships in 1:700 from Flyhawk give the hull fine ship portholes with frames. It is a photo-etched accessory, not a stand-alone ship model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from Flyhawk reproduces ship portholes with eyebrow strips for warships of the Kriegsmarine from the Second World War. It is not a kit but a fine photo-etched sheet with which you replace the flat or molded portholes on the plastic hull.
The sides of warship hulls were lined with rows of circular portholes, often with a small hood above the frame. In 1:700 scale these details are tiny and in plastic they tend to be only suggested. The photo-etched version gives the hull sides convincing relief, and after painting the fine shadow of the frames stands out.
Glue the photo-etched strips onto a degreased hull with thin cyanoacrylate glue, or with a micro drop. Separate the parts with a sharp knife and line them up with the rows of portholes on the plastic. Once they are glued on, apply primer and paint with an airbrush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
