This photo-etched set from Flyhawk brings nameplates with the names of German warships together with small stands for 1:700 scale. It is not a ship kit but a presentation accessory that gives a finished model on its base a professional and clear appearance.
A nameplate on a base or in a display case states unambiguously which ship it is and what she was called, and it raises the collector value of the installation. Set II widens the range of names to further German ships, so that a builder can find the plate that matches his model.
The photo-etched plates can be left in bare metal, painted, or backed with a colored surface to bring out the lettering. Attach them to the base with cyanoacrylate glue. Clean up the fine edges with a file after separating them.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
