The M-30 howitzer of 122 mm caliber is among the most successful and most widespread Soviet artillery weapons. It was introduced at the end of the 1930s, proved itself throughout the Second World War and served in a number of armies long afterwards. It excelled in reliability, range and the destructive effect of its shell; it was towed by artillery tractors as well as horse teams.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Take care over the exact alignment of the carriage and the split trail legs, so that the gun stands firmly. The model is covered in a single-color protective green; you can bring the surface alive with a primer, by bringing out the details with a dry brush and with weathering — dust and mud on the lower areas and the wheels. If you place a crew beside the gun, you get a rewarding small diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
