The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European multi-role combat aircraft with a delta wing and foreplanes. It is built in a single-seat and a two-seat version, which the name of this set calls EF-2000A and EF-2000B. Its engines are placed side by side in the rear fuselage, so the exhaust nozzles form a conspicuous pair that is the first thing you see from the tail.

The rear of the aircraft is usually the weakest spot in a kit: the plastic part is often shallow, solid inside or made of two halves with a seam exactly where it shows most. The replacement nozzles have an open interior and a finer shape to the petals. According to the name the set is intended for the single-seat as well as the two-seat form; the kit it is matched to and the number of parts are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene and are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and carefully sand the remainder down, going slowly at the rim of the nozzle so that no uneven edge is left. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Test the fit dry before you glue the tail of the model together, because later you will hardly get to the place. Leave the painting to the finished part and do not join it to the model before it is painted: the inside of the nozzle is darker and sooty, the outer shell should be lighter, and the fine heat discoloration of the metal comes from a gradual transition, not from a sharp boundary. Work from photographs of the aircraft you are building, because the shade differs from one airframe to another with the hours flown.
A set of replacement nozzles is supplied. The model, paints, glue and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
