An accessory set from the Ukrainian maker Reskit with faithfully rendered landing gear wheels for a model of the carrier F-35C version in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified plastic parts. The wheels are cast in resin with a crisp tire tread and fine detail on the hubs.
The F-35C is the carrier version with sturdier landing gear adapted for operation from aircraft carriers. The resin replacement wheels give the model a more accurate tire shape and a faithful hub pattern, which lifts the realism of the landing gear.
Wash the parts free of the remains of the mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The tires and the hubs are easy to mask and paint separately. Protect your airways when sanding.
The accessory set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The aircraft model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
