This set contains two 3D-printed resin Firestreak missiles in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker Reskit. It is an accessory for superdetailing, not a stand-alone aircraft model. The parts replace simplified plastic armament and give the model accurate shapes and fine surface detail.
The Firestreak was a British infrared-guided air-to-air missile from the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. It was carried by fighters such as the English Electric Lightning, the de Havilland Sea Vixen and the Gloster Javelin. It was among the first European guided missiles of its kind.
Wash the parts free of any mold release residue, separate them carefully from the support structures and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with your airways protected. The missiles are fitted to the appropriate pylons, the joints filled and the whole sprayed. Paints, decals and pylons are not included in the package.
This is a resin accessory supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and decals are not included in the package.
