The Eduard 1:72 Halifax B Mk.III set of spray masks for clean spraying of the extensive glazing and the wheels on the matching kit of the bomber in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks in kabuki tape for cleanly masking the glazing of the cockpit, the nose, the gun turrets and the tires. On a four-engine bomber with extensive glazing the masks save a great deal of time and give sharp color transitions. This is an accessory for a kit, not an airplane model.
The Handley Page Halifax was a British four-engine heavy bomber which, together with the Lancaster, formed the basis of the night bomber force in the Second World War. The B Mk.III version was notable for its Bristol Hercules radial engines, which improved performance at altitude. Besides raids on Germany, the Halifax also served for dropping paratroops, towing gliders and maritime patrol.
First back the glazing with the interior color and only then apply the masks for the frames. Press the edges down carefully so that paint does not creep under them, and spray in thin coats. On a large glazed area it pays to work in sections and to keep checking the covered edges.
The masks serve as an accessory for a kit. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
