A resin set of replacement exhaust stacks in 1:72 scale for models of the British fighter Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIC. This is not an airplane model, but a detail accessory that replaces the boxed plastic exhausts with more authentic parts featuring hollow outlets.
Cast exhausts have hollow outlets and finer casting than injection-molded plastic parts. The Hurricane Mk.IIC was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, whose forked exhaust stacks the set faithfully reproduces; once painted and highlighted, they look more realistic.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release residue, carefully separate them from the casting blocks or print supports, and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin, and apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
