Color three-dimensional Kelik interior elements for the Hawker Hurricane Mk IIC fighter in 1:72 scale, laid out for the Arma Hobby kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-seat fighter whose airframe was built on a frame of steel tubes with a covering over it. The Mk IIC version carried an armament of four twenty-millimeter cannon in the wing, which made it a machine suited to attacks on ground targets as well. Power came from a liquid-cooled Rolls-Royce Merlin V12. The cabin is clearly visible beneath the sliding canopy, so the interior is worth attention.
The set brings color three-dimensional elements of the cockpit: the instrument panel with its dials drawn in, the side consoles, the seat with its restraint belts and small controls. The elements have a thickness of their own, so once seated they stand above the surface and the interior looks three-dimensional. The layout is prepared for the Arma Hobby kit in 1:72 scale.
The application procedure differs between ranges, so follow the instructions from Kelik. Clear the surfaces in the cabin of burrs beforehand and degrease them so that an element seats without ripples. Work with tweezers, try an element in place first and then press it down with a soft cotton bud.
The set is for the modeler who is building a Hurricane with an open cabin and does not want to paint dials with a brush. At a small scale it is the fastest way to get legible instruments into the cockpit, and the result looks even in close-up photographs too. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
