The Nakajima J1N1 was a Japanese twin-engine aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service, and in the S form it served as a night fighter under the name Gekko. It was fitted with obliquely upward-firing cannon, with which it could attack bombers from below. The long glazed cockpit for a crew of two is clearly visible along its whole length on the model, which is why it pays to finish it before the fuselage is closed.
For builders of Japanese naval aircraft in 1:72 scale who want something to show under the glazing. The extent of the set and the exact procedure are given by the manufacturer in the instructions. The package holds only the interior elements; the model, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
