About product

Yahu Models 1:72 LaGG-3 and La-5 early - an Instrument Panel

A pre-painted photo-etched instrument panel in 1:72 scale for the Soviet Lavochkin LaGG-3 and early La-5 fighters. It is not a kit and not an aircraft model but a finished detail part for the cockpit. The panel is made up of laminated etched layers, it is precisely printed with color dials and it has a gloss varnish imitating the glass of the instruments. It is glued into a model in place of the original kit part.

Use

  • It replaces the plastic or decal instrument panel in a kit.
  • It is glued in with a small drop of super glue; painting is not needed.
  • Suitable for models of the LaGG-3 and the early La-5 in 1:72 scale.
  • It gives the cockpit depth and realistically legible instruments.

Who it is for

For modelers building Soviet fighters of the Second World War who want to raise the cockpit detail quickly. Because of the small parts it is better suited to more advanced builders used to photo-etch and super glue.

This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
