A short-run injection-molded plastic kit of the early German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109 B Berta in 1:72 scale from manufacturer AZ model. The Over Spain edition focuses on this aircraft's deployment during the Spanish Civil War with the Condor Legion. The package includes self-adhesive painting masks. Assembly requires modeling plastic cement and paints, which are not included in the package.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 B Berta was one of the first production versions of the legendary German fighter. It was an all-metal monoplane with retractable landing gear that first proved itself in real combat during the Spanish Civil War, where it was flown by the German Condor Legion. Lessons from this deployment significantly shaped the further development of the Bf 109, which became the backbone of the German fighter arm.
This is a short-run kit, so it pays to dry-fit the parts before gluing, clean up molding flash, and sand the joints. Glue with thin modeling plastic cement. Apply the included masks to the cockpit parts before spraying; airbrush the colors in thin coats over a primer, apply decals over a gloss coat, and seal the work with a matte clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
