Figures of the crew of the MJ-1C munitions loader in 1:72 scale from Reskit, in the second composition, which the name identifies as scene 2.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second of the pair of sets that Reskit devoted to the crew of the munitions loader nicknamed Jammer in its current MJ-1C form. The name states three figures and the composition scene 2, which differs from the first grouping in the arrangement of the tableau. The 1:72 scale is the most widely used one for ground scenes around fighters, because the whole tableau fits into a display case, not just a part of it.
A loader of this class has accompanied US Air Force aircraft since the 1960s and in modernized versions serves to this day. A hydraulic platform lifts the load to the height of the pylon and the crew lines it up by hand, because the tolerances are minimal. There are therefore always more people around the machine than just the driver, which is what defines this kind of figure set.
First arrange the figures dry on the base and find the viewing angle from which the tableau reads clearly – only then does it make sense to pick up a brush. Apply the paint from the bottom up, footwear and trouser legs first, the head last. Pick out the small details in a contrasting tone, otherwise they disappear in a small scale. A final matte clear coat evens out the sheen.
The package contains the figures, not the vehicle or an aircraft model.
