A plastic kit of the Soviet ZSU-37 self-propelled anti-aircraft system in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker UM (UniModels). The model is supplied as injection-molded plastic to be assembled and painted, and it captures the 1944 configuration with an open turret.
The ZSU-37 was the first Soviet series-produced self-propelled anti-aircraft gun. It was based on a light self-propelled chassis derived from the SU-76 series and carried a 37 mm automatic anti-aircraft gun in an open rotating turret. It entered service from 1944 and served to protect troops against low-flying targets.
Before you close the hull, finish the running gear and the interior of the open turret, which stays visible. A primer works well, then Soviet protective green with an airbrush and after that washes in the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear and the underside.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
