A resin set of wheel chocks and jacks for aircraft in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. These are the small things that lie by every machine on a flight line but are usually missing on models. Printing in resin manages parts even this small with sharp edges. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a scene.
Wheel chocks are set under the wheels of a parked aircraft, so that the machine does not roll away, and they tend to be joined by a cord, so that the crew can pull them out at once. Jacks serve during maintenance: they lift the aircraft, so that the landing gear can be worked on or a wheel changed. Both are omnipresent in photographs from an airfield, and in a diorama it is exactly these details that separate a convincing scene from a model standing on a bare board.
Work over a surface and with tweezers that have smooth jaws; the parts are very small. Cut the supports off with a new blade; never break them. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. The chocks tend to be wooden or rubber and the jacks metal, so different materials will stand out on them. The cord between the chocks can be suggested with a thin filament.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
