The airfield tow bar for the Su-34 in 1:72 scale is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin model of the airfield tow bar for the Su-34 strike aircraft in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The bar connects the nose landing gear of the aircraft to a tractor and is used when the machine is moved around an airfield. Printing in resin holds even the thin lugs and pins. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for an airfield scene.
The Su-34 is a heavy strike aircraft with an armored cockpit for two crew members and with a large load of armament, so its takeoff weight is among the highest in the whole family. On the flight line it is moved by a tractor, because taxiing with a full load would strain the landing gear and the engines needlessly. The shape of the tow bar matches the attachment on the nose leg of this particular type.
Release the parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface; the lugs on the ends are thin. Sand the marks off with fine abrasive paper, wet. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Airfield equipment tends to be strikingly colorful and scuffed, so after the base color suggest scuffs on the edges and dust the lower part with a pigment.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
