Vallejo Metal Color Burnt Iron is a water-thinnable metallic acrylic paint in a shade of dark metal shading toward blue. The Metal Color line uses fine aluminum pigments for a high metal sheen and exceptional adhesion to plastic and metal. The Burnt Iron shade suits the burnt metal of exhausts, barrels, running gear and other steel parts with traces of high temperature.
For modelers who want realistic metal surfaces without polishing. Metallics come out best over a smooth base and are harder to overspray, so apply them toward the end of the build.
