A modeling paint from the line marketed as Gunze Mr.Color, with the manufacturer's part number CL06 and a shade named Clear White. The bottle holds 18 ml, so it covers even a larger area and is still easy to dose once a shade has been mixed. In modeling ranges the word Clear usually marks translucent shades that let the surface below show through; what is binding is always the description that the manufacturer gives on the packaging.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before work so that the pigment settled at the bottom is stirred in evenly. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging; the ratio is usually different for an airbrush and for a brush. Apply it in thin coats and let each one flash off, because with translucent shades the depth of color is built up by the number of coats, not by their thickness. Wash and degrease the surface of the model beforehand and work in a ventilated room.
Always make a test on a piece of scrap plastic or on a hidden area first: you will see how the shade looks over a light and over a dark surface, and you will check that the coat underneath does not react. Close the bottle carefully after work so that the paint does not thicken, and store it at room temperature out of the reach of children.
