The izdeliye 30 engine nozzles for the Su-57 1:32 are a 3D printed resin set of the exhaust nozzles of the new powerplant for a model of the Su-57 in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set replaces the exhaust nozzles of both engines on a model of the Su-57 in 1:32 scale, and that in the form matching the new powerplant designated izdeliye 30. A resin 3D print can manage the intricate edges of the petals and the internal detail. For the earlier AL-41F1 engine the manufacturer lists a separate set.
From the start the Su-57 was to count on a new powerplant, which Russian sources designate as izdeliye 30. Against the interim AL-41F1 it promises greater thrust and a lower radar signature, which the different shape of the exhaust nozzle with its pronounced edge pattern matches. The test machines with this engine are flying and modelers tell them apart from the series aircraft by the nozzles. Mixing up the two forms is therefore immediately visible on a model.
First wash the 3D printed parts in warm water with a little dish soap, so that they are rid of the residue of printing resin. Cut the supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the marks down with your airways protected. Resin does not bond with cement for polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Lay a thin coat of primer on before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on a smooth print. The inside of the nozzles comes out best with metallic shades and a dark wash, which brings out the petals and the linkages.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
