The set brings 3D printed sensors, antennas and air pressure probes for the Su-24 in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. The manufacturer describes it as a complete set of sensors, antennas and probes. It is not a model of an aircraft but the small external parts, which on a kit tend to be coarse.
The Su-24 is a tactical bomber with a variable-geometry wing, built for low-altitude penetration. So that it could fly low at night and in poor weather as well, it carries extensive navigation and targeting equipment and with it a number of external antennas. To these are added the air pressure probes on the nose and the angle-of-attack sensors. The arrangement of this equipment is characteristic of the aircraft and is clearly visible on a large model.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Hold the small parts over a dish while cutting them off so that they do not get lost, and glue them on only after the surrounding area has been painted.
The set is an addition to building a model, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
