Light Red 17ml

Vallejo Model Air Light Red (17 ml)

Model Air is a line of liquid water based acrylic paints from the Spanish brand Vallejo, developed above all for airbrushing. The paint has finely ground pigments and a thin consistency, so it can be sprayed practically straight from the bottle. The package is a dropper bottle with a capacity of 17 ml.

The color

Light Red is a bright red shade for modeling use. Vallejo lists it as a general color tone, not as a color tied to a particular army or subject.

Use

• It goes on with an airbrush in thin coats, ideally onto a primed surface.
• It is thinned with water or with Vallejo airbrush thinner, and the flow can be adjusted with Flow Improver as needed.
• The recommended spraying pressure is usually around 15 to 20 PSI.
• It can be applied with a brush as well, but it suits the airbrush above all.

Who it is for

For modelers who spray with an airbrush and want a paint ready to use straight away with a minimum of thinning. Before sealing the paint under decals and flattening it, it is best to clear coat the surface.

A water based acrylic paint. Shake the bottle well before use. Work in a ventilated room and clean tools with water right after work, before the paint dries.
