A modeling paint in a metallic green shade, listed under the manufacturer's part number C077 in the Gunze Mr.Color range. Usable on models in any scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a metallic green, that is a shade with a metallic sheen that behaves on a surface differently from an opaque matte paint: it brightens and darkens with the angle of view and emphasizes every shape you lay it on. It serves on body shells, on parts with a metallic sheen and on accessories where the surface is to look alive. The shade does not depend on scale, so one bottle will serve on small and large models alike.
Use the thinner intended for this range and choose the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. Stir the contents of the bottle thoroughly before work; with metallic shades that goes double, because the metallic pigment settles at the bottom and understirred paint comes out uneven. Apply it in several thin coats and let each one dry. A heavy coat easily produces patches and differences in brightness with metallics, because the pigment has time to shift before the paint goes off.
A metallic shade needs a smooth base. On a rough surface the sheen breaks up and the area looks dirty, so sand, wash and degrease the model before painting. Metallics are hard to apply with a brush, as the strokes stay visible; spraying gives a better result. Bear in mind that a matte overcoat will suppress the metallic sheen. After work, wipe the rim of the bottle and close it carefully.
The thinner, brushes, airbrush and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
