Mr. Color RLM83 dark green is a lacquer modeling paint in a 10 ml package, intended above all for an airbrush. It is thinned with the thinner of the same brand, not with water.
Responsibility details are not available.
The shade designated 83 belongs to the group of colors the Luftwaffe introduced in the last year of the war. It is a rich dark green that was combined on the upper surfaces with a brown-violet and with the lighter green RLM 82. Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D, Messerschmitt Bf 109 K and other machines of late production carried it.
The paint is a solvent-based lacquer, not a water-thinnable acrylic, even though it is sometimes listed among the acrylics. The thinner has to come from the same range, usually one to two parts to a part of paint. The bottle holds 10 ml. The dried film is hard and smooth, so it takes masking and enamel washes.
The exact shades differed between batches, so a small deviation from a color chart is not a mistake. It is a good idea, though, to spray the whole model from one stirred batch.
On machines from the end of the war it pays to leave part of the surfaces deliberately imperfect. Uneven coverage is documented and does more for the model than a carefully uniform surface.
