Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 in the gray shade from Gunze (Mr. Hobby / GSI Creos) is a fine liquid lacquer surfacer, that is a filling putty and a base primer in one. The volume of the pack is 40 ml. The number 1500 marks the fineness of the grit: it is a finer grit than the 1000 or 1200 range, with a very fine, almost satin surface. It therefore suits as a final filling and priming layer that fills small scratches and sanding marks and prepares a smooth surface for the final coat. The gray shade is universal and reveals any remaining flaws of the surface well.

Use

• filling very fine scratches, marks and sanding traces on plastic, resin and etched parts
• creating a fine primer on which the final colors hold well
• unifying the surface before the final coat, especially where a smooth base is needed
• applied with a brush on small areas, or thinned with a lacquer thinner and sprayed with an airbrush in a thin coat
• once dry it sands smooth easily
