The shades in this group are not named by a color chart number but after the machines and characters they belong to: this one refers to the red finish of the mobile suits that in the Gundam world belong to a character named Char. Thin it with the thinner intended for this range and in the ratio stated by the manufacturer on the packaging; a different thinner can curdle the paint or attack the layers underneath. Stir the contents thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom during storage and an unmixed paint has both a different tone and different coverage.
