A resin set of hundred-kilogram high-explosive fragmentation OFAB-100-120 bombs together with a multiple ejector rack, in 1:48 scale, from the Russian brand Temp Models. The set covers the whole suspension assembly: the rack for the pylon and the bombs that hang from it. Printing in resin manages the thin arms and the small locks. It is not an aircraft kit but an armament accessory for a finished model.
The OFAB-100-120 is a light high-explosive fragmentation bomb of the kind Soviet and Russian tactical aviation uses against equipment and lightly protected targets. It is with small bombs that a multiple ejector rack makes the most sense: the aircraft can take several of them on one station and uses its load capacity far better than when a single large bomb is hung. In photographs from an airfield such bombs hang under the wing in dense rows.
Release the rack and the bombs from the supports over a working surface and spray them separately, because once assembled you will not reach the inner surfaces. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Handle the color bands on the munitions with thin masking tape or a decal. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; assemble the whole thing on a flat surface.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
