A translucent blue-green paint from the GX range of the Mr.Color brand. It serves to tone a ground that shows through it.
Responsibility details are not available.
A translucent shade from the GX range within the Mr.Color assortment. Its name refers to peacock green, that is a saturated tone on the border between green and blue. The designation of a translucent version means that the paint will not cover the ground but will tint it. The resulting impression therefore arises only from the interplay of the paint and what lies beneath it: on a light ground it comes out bright, on a dark one it stays deep and dark.
Translucent paints are applied in several very thin coats. Every further coat deepens the shade, so you control the saturation by the number of passes rather than by the amount of paint in one coat. It looks best on a smooth glossy ground, because every irregularity under a translucent coat stays visible. Wash and degrease the ground before painting, as fingerprints show through a translucent coat as matte patches. Leave the sprayed area undisturbed to dry; while the coat is fresh it is easily damaged by touch. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging, and use a thinner intended for this range.
It suits modelers who work with color depth: on polished surfaces, on backlit details, or for evening out a shade under a final clear coat. Thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
