Injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Bell UH-1 Huey helicopter in the form used by the German ground army (Heer) in 1:35 scale from Dragon. The richly equipped kit contains photo-etched parts for the interior and the exterior (some of them pre-colored), a resin rescue winch and figures of German paratroopers. The cabin doors can be built open or closed and several marking options are available.
The UH-1 Huey is one of the best-known helicopters in history. Germany operated UH-1D machines built under license by Dornier for the army and the air force; they served for transport, communication and rescue tasks. The two-blade main rotor and the glazed cockpit with its excellent view are characteristic.
Finish and paint the cabin interior before you close the fuselage. Mask the glazing and fit it at the end, ideally with a cement for clear plastic so that it does not fog. Bend the thin photo-etched parts accurately and fit the rotor and the landing gear at the end. A matte coat unifies the surface under the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
