The M1919 Browning machine gun of .30 caliber, that is 7.62 mm, was air-cooled and its barrel was covered by a characteristic perforated jacket. The American army used it from the Second World War for several further decades, partly in infantry squads and partly as the armament of armored and truck vehicles. The weapon was moreover fitted onto a range of different mounts, and it is exactly those that decide how the assembly looks on a model and where it can be placed.
In the package there are three machine guns in the version with the mount that bears the designation E6160. This is a separate accessory that is not tied to one particular kit.
Before building, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry completely. Try the assembly dry first and only then glue, and do it in minute drops. Lead the coat from a dark base toward lighter tones, and bring the edges and the jacket of the barrel out with careful drybrushing. The weapon on a vehicle is the part a viewer notices first, so it pays to give it time.
The accessory will be appreciated by modelers for whom the coarser weapon from a plastic kit is not enough, and by builders of dioramas where several vehicles have to be fitted out at once. The model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
