Tamiya Quick Dry Epoxy Putty — a fast-drying epoxy putty

Quick Dry Epoxy Putty is a two-part (epoxy) modeling putty from Tamiya in a fast-drying form. It consists of two components that are mixed by hand in a 1:1 ratio until a uniform mass is formed. That can then be shaped and applied and cures to a firm state within approximately 6 hours, so you can carry on with the model quickly. Once cured, the mass can be machined, drilled and sanded.

Use

• filling larger cavities, seams and missing volumes on a model
• shaping and modeling parts that are then worked further
• mixing both components in a 1:1 ratio to a uniform color
• fast curing of the order of around 6 hours, a shorter time than with the smooth sculpting form
• once cured the mass can be sanded, cut, drilled and painted
