Sanding Pads 220 / 400 / 600 / 800 / 1000 / 1500 / 2500 and 4000 (8 in 1)

Infini-Model Sanding Pads 220 / 400 / 600 / 800 / 1000 / 1500 / 2500 and 4000 - eight grits in one pack

This set of sanding pads from Infini-Model contains eight grits in one pack: 220, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2500 and 4000. It therefore covers the whole road from coarse leveling of a mold seam to preparing the surface for a gloss coat. It is not a kit or an accessory for a model but consumable modeling equipment.

Use

• Grits 220 and 400 - leveling seams, cleaning up sprue gates, leveling filler.
• Grits 600 to 1000 - removing the marks left by coarser sanding and preparing the surface for a primer.
• Grits 1500 to 4000 - smoothing the paint, leveling small irregularities and preparing for polishing, typically on car bodies and cowlings.
• Always work through them in order and skip no step, otherwise the coarser grit leaves scratches that will show under the paint.
• Clean the surface between the individual steps so that the coarser grit is not carried into the finer one.

Who the set is for

It will be appreciated above all by builders of cars, motorcycles and anything that is meant to have a deep gloss, because the fine grades above 1500 are hard to substitute with ordinary abrasive paper. It is useful on aircraft and military subjects too: the coarser grades serve during the build, the fine ones when repairing a blemish in the paint. A set with the whole run of grits is also welcome because you do not have to buy each grade separately.

This is modeling equipment, not a kit. Do not breathe the sanding dust and work in a ventilated area.
