Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains 3D printed resin covers and plugs of the kind technicians fit to a parked Su-35 aircraft, in 1:32 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory that turns a model standing still into a machine parked between sorties. The print holds the soft-looking shapes of the covers as well as the small tie-down straps.
Besides its large air intakes and nozzles the Su-35 carries a number of sensitive sensors and electro-optical windows, which are covered on the ground. The covers protect the equipment from dirt, moisture and sunlight and tend to be of strikingly colored fabric or plastic, so that nobody overlooks them before a flight. On a modern machine there are more of them than on the older types, because the number of sensors has grown. In photographs of parked aircraft they form a striking patch of color.
First wash the 3D printed parts in warm water with a little dish soap, so that they are rid of the residue of printing resin. Cut the supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the marks down with your airways protected. Resin does not bond with cement for polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Lay a thin coat of primer on before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on a smooth print. Number the small parts before you cut them off the supports, because once separated they are easily mixed up.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
