Aircraft technician figures in 1:32 scale, set number 2 are 3D printed figures from Temp Models. They capture the ground personnel, not the flight crew.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed figures of aircraft technicians in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. Unlike the pilot sets it captures the ground personnel, that is the people who prepare, check and replenish an aircraft. It is not a model of an aircraft but the crew without which nothing on the apron would work.
Technicians on the apron do not wear flight equipment but working clothes, a cap or ear defenders, and they have tools with them. They work in groups, often crouching by the landing gear or on the steps at the engine, and their stances differ from a pilot's: a pilot stands, a technician bends over his work. In a hot climate lighter clothing with rolled-up sleeves and protection of the head against the sun are added to that.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the figures in layers from the base tone toward the light edges, and leave the face and the hands for last.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model aircraft are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
