Figures of aircraft technicians in 1:72 scale, set number 2 are 3D-printed figures from Temp Models. Ground crew, not pilots.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of 3D-printed resin figures of Russian Air Force ground crew in 1:72 scale from Temp Models, carried as set number 2. They are not pilots but technicians, the people who move around the machine on the ground. It is not an aircraft model but figures that give a diorama its action and its scale.
A technician on the flight line looks quite different from a pilot. He has no harness and no helmet, he works in overalls and a cap, often with a tool in his hand or with a hand propped against a panel of the aircraft. In a hot climate the clothing is simplified to light overalls with the sleeves rolled up. It is exactly these small things that make figures of technicians a rewarding accessory: a figure in a working pose explains to the viewer what is going on in the scene.
The parts are held only by the thin supports from the print. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks with fine abrasive paper and protect your airway while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay a thin coat of primer under the paint. A technician's overalls suit a faded, unremarkable shade and oil stains on the sleeves and the knees.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
