A modeling paint in a blue shade listed under the name Titans Blue 1, the manufacturer's part number UG16, in a package with a volume of 10 ml. It belongs to the Gunze Mr.Color line, among the paints for Gundam kits. Ranges prepared for one family of kits tend to have their shades chosen so that they match its color schemes, so you go at a model with them more confidently than by mixing from general bases. The number in the name tells the shades of the same group apart from each other.
Stir the contents of the container properly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom while it stands. Use the thinner intended for this line and set the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. Apply in thin coats and let each one set; one heavy coat will flood fine detail and dries unevenly. Test how it behaves in a mix with paints of other brands on an unwanted piece of plastic, not straight on the model.
Wash and degrease the surface of the parts before painting; fingerprints on smooth plastic only stand out under the paint, when it is too late to put them right. On kits with parts already colored from the factory a base coat pays off: it unifies the surface and darker plastic does not show through a lighter coat. Stick masking tape onto a dry coat before you spray the next shade and take it off carefully, so that it does not tear the edge away with it. Close the container immediately after work and keep it dry and away from frost.
A paint with a volume of 10 ml is supplied. Thinner, brushes, kits and further shades are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
