German Afrika Korps Colors 1941-1943 (6x 17 ml) is a set of six AK Real Colors lacquer paints for the camouflage of German Afrika Korps vehicles in North Africa.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of six Real Colors lacquer paints of 17 ml, put together for the faithful finish of the vehicles of the German Afrika Korps deployed in the North African campaign from the beginning of 1941 to May 1943. It holds shades from the initial dark gray through sand and gray-green tones to the later brown and gray camouflage, including a shade for vehicle interiors.
These are lacquer-based paints, not water-based acrylics. They are thinned with the thinner intended for Real Colors, or with another lacquer thinner, and never with water. The shades correspond to the gradual development of the German army's regulations for desert camouflage between 1941 and 1943.
For modelers building German vehicles of the North African theater who want an accurate palette of desert shades.
Lacquer-based paints are flammable and their fumes irritant, so work in a well-ventilated space, away from an open flame. They are thinned with a lacquer thinner, not with water.
