Responsibility details are not available.
The Gone Fishing set belongs to the line of scenic accessories of the American brand Woodland Scenics for HO scale (1:87). It holds figures of anglers at their fishing, figures with a rod in various stances complemented by small equipment for the water. The figures are modeled in detail and hand-painted, they are supplied finished and are only set in place.
A sheet of water tends to be laborious on a layout and still looks empty until somebody stands beside it. Anglers are ideal for such a place: they belong on the bank of a stream, by a pond, on a pier, under a railroad bridge or at the shore by an embankment. A scene with an angler at the same time makes a quiet counterpart to a busy station, and a layout thereby gets more than one mood.
Set the figure right by the surface of the water and turn it toward the water; the rod is the thinnest part of the casting, so handle it carefully and do not hold it while gluing. A line can be suggested with a thin fiber caught by a drop of cyanoacrylate glue, but it is not necessary. Glue the figures themselves with a spot drop of cyanoacrylate glue. Matte varnish evens out the gloss of the paints and a pinch of pigment on the footwear links a figure to a muddy bank. Shades may differ slightly between production runs.
The figures are supplied finished and hand-painted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
