The green from this palette is a clean saturated tone with no earthy shift, which makes it work in two rather different roles. In a scene it is the basis of leaves, grass and climbing plants, where it can be taken into lighter and darker positions and builds up well with a dry brush. On vehicles it serves rather as a corrective tone: mixed in, it can revive a military green that has gone gray after several coats and weathering, or tune the shade of green panels, cabins and the cloaks of miniatures. Green is also one of the few shades it is good to have in two positions at once, one clean and the other broken toward the earthy. The paint is in a metal tube of 20 ml and the name of the range gives it as an acrylic.
It suits builders of tableaus and everyone who has vegetation as part of their work. The dense paste can also be applied with a dry brush, which picks out the edges of leaves and stops a scene looking flat. For purely technical models with no greenery it is, on the contrary, a shade that is reached for only exceptionally.
Wash the remains of the paint out of the brush at once; green that dries in the root of the bristles stays there for good. Keep the paint out of the reach of children.
