A green shade from the Orange Line range by Hataka, mixed to the number of the American FS color standard given in the name.
Responsibility details are not available.
Green is the basic color of most military camouflage schemes, whether it covers the whole machine or forms one field of a multicolor pattern beside brown and black. This shade is defined by a number from the American FS standard, so it is not used by eye but to a specification: where the instructions or a period regulation call for exactly this green, you reach for the bottle and no mixing is needed. It is useful on the small things that go with the vehicles as well, on crates, jerrycans and transport containers.
The abbreviation FS refers to the American system of color standards, in which every shade has a five-digit number. It serves to make a shade unambiguous to ask for and to compare across manufacturers: under the same number you will find it in other ranges too, so you can put a scheme together from what you have at home. Always judge the exact match on a sprayed and dried sample, though, not on the paint in the bottle, because after drying and after a clear coat the shade shifts.
The shade belongs to the Orange Line range from Hataka. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging; reach for the same thinner when cleaning your tools. Shake the bottle well before use and apply the paint in thin coats. A continuous green area looks flat on a model, so it pays to lighten the center of large panels slightly and darken the edges.
Thinner, brushes and airbrushes are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
