U-STAR Jigsaw Grinding Sponge, 800 grit

A flexible sanding sponge in 800 grit whose flexible backing conforms to the shape of the surface being sanded. Unlike a rigid sanding stick it follows curved and rounded surfaces, which makes it ideal for aircraft fuselages, tank turrets, cowlings and other rounded parts. The sponge can be used dry or wet and can be rinsed and used again.

Use

• sanding the rounded and curved surfaces of a model
• smoothing the surface after coarser sanding
• sanding down seams on rounded parts
• work dry or wet

Who it is for

Suitable for modelers who work on models with rounded shapes and need an abrasive that follows the surface. 800 grit is medium, for smoothing before painting.

The sponge can be rinsed and used again. Do not breathe in the sanding dust; working wet cuts the dust down.
