A short-run multimedia kit from LANMO Model in 1:35 scale capturing the legendary Willys MB light off-road vehicle fitted with rocket armament. The kit combines 3D-printed and resin parts with photo-etched accessories, small metal elements and decals. It is a technically more demanding kit intended for experienced modelers.
The Willys MB was an American light off-road vehicle and one of the most iconic machines of the Second World War. It proved itself as a versatile carrier for reconnaissance, communications and the transport of men and light loads, and it became a symbol of Allied mobility. In the field the jeep saw a whole range of improvised and official modifications, including the carriage of rocket armament, which turned the small vehicle into a mobile firing platform.
Wash the cast resin parts free of any release agent and the 3D-printed ones free of print resin residue; separate both carefully from the sprue gates or from the print supports. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and the photo-etched and small metal parts likewise. Protect your airways while sanding. Apply a good primer, then the olive shade of US vehicles and gentle weathering with a wash and pigments. The details of the rockets and the launch rails stand out once they are shaded.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
