About product

Lifecolor Black Umber (a liquid pigment wash)

A water-based acrylic wash in a 22 ml bottle from the Italian liquid pigment range. The very dark brown-black shade serves for creating deep shadows, stressing engraved lines and bringing out detail. The wash is ready for immediate use, does not have to be thinned, and it is a non-toxic product without aggressive solvents.

Use

Let the surface dry, moisten it with water and lay the wash on with a brush until you reach the effect you want.
It can be applied with a brush or an airbrush, and the individual shades can be mixed with each other.
The effect can be weakened or removed with the designated remover even several days after application, without damaging the base.
Suited to gradual layering and to the fine toning of areas.

Who it is for

For modelers of military vehicles, aircraft, ships and figures who want realistic shading and patina by a water-thinnable technique.

Keep out of the reach of children. When airbrushing, ventilate and protect your airways.
